Students may enter into the Program as new freshmen with an ACT score of 24 or at the end of any semester with a grade point average of 3.0或更高. Participants entering after the first semester of the freshman year are selected on the basis of cumulative average plus the recommendations of two faculty members. The required average for second semester freshmen, sophomores and juniors is 3.0或更高; seniors must have achieved an average of 3.25岁或以上. A student who has completed a minimum of 24 hours of honors course work, and who has maintained a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.25 in honors and overall, may graduate with the desig国家 of a Myrlie Evers-Williams Honors Scholar. In addition to the above requirements, the recipient of this distinction must be enrolled in a minimum of six hours of honors course work during at least three of the four undergraduate years.
